How much does a Hively website cost?
One flat monthly plan: the 5-Page Website, $69.99/month (normally $99.99). That's 30% off for life while you stay subscribed. Hosting, SSL, SEO setup and 1 free edit per month are included. There's no setup fee or deposit.
Is there really $0 upfront? When do I pay?
Yes. We build your site first and send you a private preview. You pay only after you approve the finished site. Your first month is charged through PayPal when you approve, then monthly after that.
What if I don't like the preview?
Ask for changes. You get two free revision rounds before you approve. If you still don't love it, you don't approve it and you don't pay. Preview links expire after 7 days if the site hasn't been approved.
How can you build a website in 48 hours?
We skip the meetings, proposals and deposits that slow down most web projects. One 10-minute form tells us what we need, and we build from it. The 48 hours covers your first preview. Launch depends on your approval and any revision requests.
What's included each month?
Hosting, SSL, upkeep and 1 free edit per month, such as updating text or swapping a photo. Extra edits are $25 each. Bigger changes, like new pages or a redesign, are quoted separately.
Do I need to write the content or provide photos?
No. You can provide your own text, let Hively write it for you, or have us reuse content from your current website. For images, upload your own photos and logo or ask us to use stock images.
Who owns my domain?
You do. You buy and own your own domain name, and Hively never owns it. We just point it to your site. We only ask for access to your domain once your site is ready to go live.
I don't have a domain yet. Is that a problem?
No. Tell us on the intake form that you don't have one yet. You'll register it in your own name, and we'll connect it when your site is approved.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime, with no fee. Cancel in your PayPal account, or email support@hivelymedia.com and we'll cancel for you. Your site stays live until the end of the paid month, then goes offline. We don't refund partial months.
Is there a contract?
No. Your plan is month-to-month.
Will my website be mobile-friendly and secure?
Yes. Every Hively website is responsive, so it works on phones, tablets and desktops, and your plan includes an SSL certificate so your site loads over https.
Will my website show up on Google?
Your plan includes SEO setup: clear page titles, descriptions and headings so search engines understand your business and service area. Nobody can honestly guarantee rankings, but a fast, well-structured site gives you a solid foundation.
Can you build an online store?
Our monthly plan is for business websites. If you need to sell products online, email support@hivelymedia.com for a custom quote.
Do I have to get on a call?
No. Everything happens by email. If you'd like to talk first, email support@hivelymedia.com to request a quick 15-minute video call with founder Brian Mahany.
What happens if a payment fails?
PayPal retries it automatically. If payments fail for two billing cycles, the subscription is paused and your site may be taken offline until the balance is paid.
